Profile of the English Education Study Program
The English Education Study Program is one of the programs under the Faculty of Social Sciences, Languages, and Literature Education (FPISBS) at Institut Pendidikan Indonesia (IPI) Garut. The English Education Program is a high-quality program that provides education in English to produce English educators for both formal and non-formal sectors. This study program was established in 1986 and has achieved a B accreditation based on the SK BAN-PT Number 2312/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-PPJ/S/IV/2021. Graduates of the English Education Study Program are awarded the degree of Bachelor of Education (S.Pd.). The curriculum of the English Education Study Program consists of 146 credits (SKS), spread across 8 semesters. The compulsory courses consist of 140 credits, while the elective courses consist of 6 credits out of the 10 elective credits offered. These 10 elective credits include courses such as: Translation, Teaching Indonesian as a Foreign Language, Copywriting, Interpreting, dan Proofreading and Editing yang masing-masing terdiri dari 2 sks.
